My £50 validated this afternoon, so have claimed that. Am really hoping it comes in by the end of the month but I think it'll be next month unless they are super quick this time around.

OH is happy with me as I just found £47 in a pair of jeans he had shoved in the wardrobe, he was complaining before we went to New York that he had lost some money but then convinced himself he had spent it, well he was right, he had lost it!

He gave me £10 towards what he owes me so he owes me £120 now which should be paid off in a few weeks, I am hoping makes the rest last until payday Friday so he can leave the cash he has in the bank alone.

Mmm just worked out my budget for June - July payday and its not quite as healthy as I thought it might be.

Have £1720 coming in from my wages and the money OH gives me for bills.

£967 has to go out on bills, £205 on clearing my overdraft, £280 on credit card to clear it so that leaves £268 to play with for the month.

Thats not including my large tesco shop though which will keep us stocked up for a while.

I should get about £200 for my birthday on 9th July and have £130 (hopefully) from Dooyoo, cashback, ciao and myhomepage friends so that will all go in ISA but I wanted to get it to £2000 this month and need another £326 to do that.....

Not looking like its gonna happen! But if i can clear the overdraft and credit card I will be happy as will then have that money to play with at end of July.

I guess clearing the overdraft and cc is the main thing and then you can concentrate on saving.
You have the same birthday as my OH.

Its a good birthday to have :D

I only took the overdraft out to go to New York, I should have cancelled it last month as ended up slipping into it again this month which is why I am now suffering from it :o

Gonna ring up on Friday and ask for it to be removed so can't risk it again.

I agree with YB getting the CC and overdraft is the main thing. Then next month you wont have any money to pay off and can save! :)

Just a bit annoyed with myself for using the overdraft again, so easy to slip back to bad ways :o

I can still save a little though at least thanks to birthday cash :)

That's the thing that's stopping me getting a credit card to clear the overdraft. I am worried that I would use it, so it's prob best not to have it at all.
