Been a bit slow on dooyoo this week as been out yesterday and out tonight too but will defo be at £50 by the end of the week.

I managed to get lucky on bingoport again this week and so have claimed another £5 for Amazon and also finally got to payout on my valued opinions account so claimed Amazon as you get the code instantly so will have £30 on my account for Amazon tomorrow.

Part of me wants to treat myself but it should be saved for presents for family as then no cash will need to be spent!

Oh and I had my review at work today, went fine, asked for payraise and got a big fat no which I was expecting, pay raise will be reviewed in say six months as I deserve one and my boss agrees I do but blaming blinkin credit crunch (such an easy excuse!)

Thank god for other money earners!

Well I have managed one dooyoo review tonight and am £5 away from that £50 now, gonna do at least one more tonight now though, would like to be at £50 by end of tomorrow night so can claim my cheque next week.

Its only a week until payday now, I got paid 3 days early last month and it has been a really long month, looking forward to clearing the bits off my credit card and getting out of my overdraft and onto saving again!

Not too happy with OH at moment, had a row over having a baby last night, hes gone all I don't want one and have no idea when I will and well I want to start trying next year, I am just going to have to concentrate on money making for the house.

He just always comes up with bull s*** reasons for not having one, like he wants to do stuff but then never gets off his a$$ and does anything and hes 30 now so not like hes too young, not in my eyes anyway.

    I'm not sticking around forever.

    Hiya,

You are doing brilliantly on dooyoo. I am on almost 40,000, can't wait to get there! Well done on the vouchers too.

Hope you and OH manage to sort things. Is not great for you if he is changing his mind on big decisions like that.

In January this year he wanted us to start trying straight away, I said no as was being sensible and then he started to go off the idea about 2 months later.

Some days hes ok about it, then he isn't.

I should just try and ignore the matter for a while but its hard, he doesn't understand that I really want a baby, he thinks I am too young but am 25 in 3 weeks anyway so not too young in my opinion.

    Hi there,

I often read this thread but have never joined in until now, I hope you don't mind me saying this but your Oh is probably just panicking about having kids, they are such hard work and cost an awful lot of money, I am not justifying what he says but if you go to him with a plan and talk it through calmly in a few days, I am sure he will come round. It's scary knowing that you are responsible for this little bundle, I have 2 children one age 2 and one age 7.

    Oooooo a lurker :D

    Hello there :hello:

Thanks hun, I can understand he might be scared, I am scared too but its what I want.

I am going to try and concentrate on other things for a while as all I can seem to think about is babies, babies and more babies which isn't helped by a lot of friends having them as we start to get older.

It was him that brought it pretty much out of the blue six months ago, wish I had just said yes then and wasn't so sensible.

I know having a house first is the best option though so best concentrate on that.

    Woo well done!

I am sure he will come around. You are right to try and put your focus on something else and the house seems a good thing!

Well I have only £3 to go now on dooyoo and I am on a mission to make that tonight, what an exciting Friday night :rotfl:

Having a bit of a mental block on what to review though.

I have been looking at cashback sites too though and should hopefully have £50 paid out at end of June which will all go in the ISA too :)

I am sitting here though trying to resist the usual Friday night takeaway and an alcoholic beverage though, feel guilty for earning that money and then spending but I don't have many treats lol.
