Still feeling a tad down today, just angry at myself too, i spend ages trying to do extra earning then go blow it all
Feeling sorry for myself won't buy me a house though so need to get positive again!
Transferred £9.19 into ISA today and should be able to transfer £8.28 tomorrow once some cash clears, all helps.
I am really looking forward to June 25th when I get paid as I should be able to put a nice lump in then. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Morning hun sorry to hear you are feeling down.
If the spending is getting you down why don't you stop playing the Bingo for a little while. I know the wins are nice but if you are starting to use your own money then it may be worth stepping away from it for a while.
Have you spoke to your OH about his credit card?Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Just had a chat with him, its only £400ish he owes but its still £400 we could save.
Worked out we have spent over £26k in rent on this house once August arrives.
Thats the really annoying thing, I am paying off a mortgage but not mine
We need to get a tight plan but until his debt is cleared theres not much point

Think how you felt when you became debt free. Triple that & think how you'll feel when you have your house deposit... you're probably just having a bad few days. I am quite impatient and want it all now. Need to buckle down. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Well I have managed a Dooyoo review, less than a £1 away from £30 now

I was chatting to OH again about one of the government home buy schemes just so we could buy sooner, its an idea i have looked at on and off for a while but in the long term it won't be worth it as we can only buy a 2 bedroom house unless i was pregnant and once it sells you have to give them the loan back.
I want the flexibility to buy a house with a mortgage that takes overpayments and would struggle with that on a scheme I think.
I just wish I could cut out some of the other things we pay for, if I could get freeview I would cancel sky but we don't have a good enough aerial to get it and would cost about £100 to get one fitted which is 5 months sky so might as well leave it for now.
I want to cancel my O2 contract which I should have done in December but I renewed it as my old phone broke and I wanted a new one but am now stuck on my contract until June next year although I can start reducing my tariff in September this year each month.
I might be able to leave next March too but not 100% sure on that.
Defo getting freeview at the next house as we don't watch enough TV for Sky really but I like some channels like ITV2.Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Not much to report over the last few days, I have just pushed myself over the £30 mark on dooyoo, I really want to claim my next cheque before my next payday so have just over 2 weeks to make £20, lots of reading i think and a few reviews too.
Been feeling still quite negative again last few days but trying to get out of the slump, will all be worth it when I own my own home with a affordable mortgage which i will then be on a mission to pay off!
Our work was affected by a power cut due to a fire at a sub station so I got to leave early but i rang my boss after hearing about the fire and our work might have to move to our sisters companies site for the next week whilst they bring the power back up which is gonna be a chore for me to get too, its a pain having to get to mine with lifts and buses as it is!
Sometimes not driving is a pain but its not an expense I cannot afford right now anyway, will have to get back in the seat some day though, been 3 years since I drove a car....and failed my tests so miserably :rotfl:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

Yay its only one more working day until the weekend!
I got my bingoport voucher today so I now have £15 in my Amazon account towards pressies, will probably go on my 3 nieces birthdays which are all in September!
I am over £35 on Dooyoo too, planning to be over £40 by end of weekend and then will work like mad to get the £50 cheque.
Can't wait until payday so I can put a nice chunk in the ISA.
Been seriously broody this week but its spurring me on to make cash as the quicker we have a house or most of our deposit the sooner it will happen. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
dooyoo reviews duly rated :TYou will be at £50 in no time! I am hoping to be joining you in the cheque request queue by the end of the month
