Last friday I sent letter telling HFO payments are being stopped. This morning I get a letter from them telling me once again that they are still waiting for cca from Citicard and they will forward it to me 'as and when' they receive it. They have told me to continue payments so they are not forced to 'take further enforcement action to recover this debt'.
As you will know from previous post I've asked them 2years ago for cca.
What shall I do now? Do I reply to this letter, not sure what my next step should be?
Also Apex are chasing me for an Egg debt. I sent them a letter also last friday telling them payments have been stopped until I receive cca. Completely different attitude then HFO, they said my account is being put on hold and I will not be contacted again until they have a copy of my cca.

    Any advice please x

    Hi again Lotty,

What action are they going to take without a compliant cca? - nothing except keep on chasing you!
They can't litigate without it and hfo capital can't litigate within the uk anyway - morons...:D

Just send a letter reiterating the fact that after all this time you still have no cca and the account remains in serious dispute. All the time the account remains in dispute, you are under no obligation to send any payment.

If they haven't found your cca by now, they are unlikely to in the future. Citi will have no interest in finding it now anyway, as they have sold the account on and written it off as a tax loss - case closed for citi.......:D

Hi all. Well the HFO (Turnbull Rutherford Solicitors) saga continues. As you can tell by my previous posts I have sent all the relevent letters. They still continue to send me letters and now phoning me twice a week for the past few months. Received letter this morning telling me that this is a final warning and if I dont start paying they will take court action and may include baliffs visiting my property. Obviously they are not taking the letters I sent them seriously. Still no CCA after requesting it only 3 years ago!!!
Surely now this is harassment! Wouldnt be suprised if they turn up at my door again, they did some years ago.
Could do with some advice please on what my next move should be.

    Many Thanks

    report them to the oft

hfo and turnbull rutherfors are on the verge of getting their license to operate taken off them by the oft

the oft have already said they want to revoke their license. its just pending any appeal. so every complaint against hfo now counts
