    Dear ,

You have chosen to escalate your dispute to a PayPal claim. By ending communication with the seller, you are asking PayPal to investigate the case and decide the outcome. As part of our investigation, PayPal reviewed any communication you may have had in the Resolution Centre.

Our investigation into the following transaction is complete. As stated in our User Agreement, the claims process only applies to the delivery of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund.

Wasnt sure what else to do as it seems the money i spent on this has now been lost. Raised a complaint through the BBC Watchdog because it seems that they have some kind of scam going.

With regards to the charge back option, im led to believe this is simply on things like direct debits where the money was taking after the DD was cancelled. Apparently it doesnt cover the situation with chasing part refunds.

Sounds like you need paypal to address the issue that only part of the order was delivered, their response suggests they believe you recieved the complete order.

Regards the charge back it is nothing to do with DD it only applies to credit card purchases and VISA debit card purchases. and it is done by phoning your card providers customer services.
  • Cool, il try to get through to Paypal and explain. I did wonder why they fired a response like that straight back! Guess i've got to the point where its seeming like i wont get this money back.

    Thanks for you advice
  • I have had exactly the same experience as chrisyklx . Bought a pair of boots which did not fit, returned them at my own considerable expense and had to chase them. They promised a refund but then ignored all further emails. I have contacted Hostmaster Bytemark and spoke to a very pleasant young man called Matthew who said that he frequently received phone call from Blackleaf's dissatisfied customers and asked me to email my complaint and he would pass it on. I have done this but won't hold my breath. I have also opened a dispute with Paypal but a return with no refund does not seem to fit into any category for their complaints system. I would appreciate any further advice !

    What was the returns address?
What address is given in the paypal transaction?

If they acknowledged reciept of the return in email, then send them a snail mail 14 day demand for refund or you will start small claims against them. Send a reminder @ 7days - draw to their attention that after you have paid a court fee you will only settle before court if they give you a refund + court fee in full.

Then follow through with that threat. Do it online cost of £25 for the 1st stage. That will make them sit up and take notice
