why do you need 30 hours.
Is that for the extra 30 + element.
because you can claim WTC on 16 + hours.
she doesnt have children and isnt disabled, so she MUST be working 30+ hours to claim any sort of WTC
i am of course assuming that the poster is female!the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
ahhh failed to see the no kids part.
well yeah then 30 hours plus your income can only be a certain amount to get WTC.
I would go down the survey route as well then.0 -
Hi All,
Thanks, all - Yeah, no children and in good health, so need 30 hours. I did actually offer to start an extra 15 mins for 2 days with one employer i.e. 9.15am-12.30pm, and then 1.30-5pm. This would include two tea breaks of 15 mins in morning and afternoon (think we get paid for this, but not the lunch break), but my manager said that this arrangement would mean needing to take a whole full hour for lunch on these days.?? Anyone clarify this?0 -
He's wrong in regards to the law. Under the Working Time Directive, the only break you need to take is a 30 minute one if you work more than 6hrs. It may be a company policy he's on about rather than the law.0

Why don't you do one hour a week dog walking, gardening, or ironing? I'm sure you could declare this as work.
Alternatively if you did 1 hr or more vol work would that count - I know that if you are on IS they warn you not to do more than 16 hrs vol work or you will have to sign off....MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
