Windows Updates - Vista

Is it just me, or have there been no updates for Windows Vista or Defender for about two weeks now? My machine is set to check for new updates every day but there has been nothing since 9th September. Everything else on the PC seems to work OK and I don't get any error messages when I check for updates. Are Microsoft on vacation?

Nope, there were several hotfixes Tuesday past. try running a manual update to check.

You've obviously got them.

Is it set to automatically install new updates?

No it is set to alert me to the existence of updates, I then usually click to install them if I'm not in the middle of something. It just seems odd that there has been nothing new since 9th September.

I've had updates for Windows Defender on 14/17/19th September and the 9th had 10 updates.

My update history shows 9 updates on the 9th and nothing since.

9th was Patch Tuesday, don't expect any until the second Tuesday of October..

I got some a couple of days ago which seem to be connected to the ultima version I have. Mind You I did a fresh install just over a week ago and did a update then and a few days later some more updates

If your not running a legit copy then that might be your problem.
