Single room heater

Hi - I have a disabled daughter who has a downstairs room. The room is a garage conversion and although well insulated is a single storey structure with 3 outside walls. Her room is colder than the rest of the house and I am looking for a cheap way to heat it without turning on the central heating for the whole house.
Any ideas? I was considering a standalone electric/oil heater.

What about a convector heater that's got a thermostat built in, that way you can specify how warm you want the room to be?0

Electrical heating is still the most expensive way to heat and there is no difference between the running costs of any of them.
Assuming your CH is gas, it will be cheaper to use that and just make sure all the other radiators are turned off.0
