Moving house with Tiscali, how should I do it?

Hi All,
I am moving out of parents house next week and I currently pay for broadband, as I use it the most. My ISP is Tiscali.
Now what is the best way to go about this? My parents would like to keep a broadband service, but as they have the full sky package and talktalk, they are likely to go with one of those as they are free and cheap respectively.
So a few questions if anyone can help
1. if I move my Tiscali with me, will my parents require a mac code to get a new broadband provider?
2. It will take 10-15 days apparently to move. Will it disappear from my parents house on day 1 and reappear on my new house on day 15, or will it transfer overnight on day 15?
3. Would it be easier to simply cancel my Tiscali internet and re subscribe at my new address? if I were to do this would my parents still require a MAC code?
Thanks in advance?
Craig

From my experience of moving it's easier if you cancel and start again.
However as your parents are involved I would do a migration at their house as when ISPs cancel your service they don't necessarily take their "equipment" off your line.
And start a new contract at your new house.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
