I agree, sadly ebay are useless when it comes to feedback disputes. They purposely do no get involved. I have very much fallen out of love with ebay and barely use it anymore.
Ebay has been spoiled by idiots and swindlers.

    As an update:

He managed to get the strike on my account, but I swiftly filed an appeal and it was removed. Yesterday, I get a message from him via ebay requesting mutual withdrawal! "In light of our recent negative feedback would you consider a mutual withdrawal. Kind regards, XXXX"

    Are you joking?!?

I replied in no uncertain terms that he had some cheek, and as he fortunately is too stupid to lie in my feedback, the "buyer needs to learn we can't control the carrier" neg he gave me, with my reply, looks worse for him than it does for me :p

So he can keep his neg, and I'll have mine.

I have checked his recent feedback, and he has started getting more and more complaints for selling with no stock, and he gives his buyers who complain at this a neg saying "difficult to deal with" The cheek!

This sometimes happens as people realise that they are not the only one being fobbed off when someone speaks up and leaves honest feedback.
Usually it then goes in a downward spiral for the seller/ buyer if they are lying as complaints start to get lodged.
One of the good things with feedback .

It's your perogative to leave whatever feedback you feel necessary, and so the same applies to the other party. I've received two negative feedbacks, both from idiots. One who did not contact me to discuss problems, and another who left revenge feedback after I left him negative because he was refusing to pay postage costs. When someone else looks at my feedback they'll see 900 odd positives and 2 negatives, I think that they'll form a positive impression. Every Ebay account is going to have a few negatives from the idiots out there.
    Happy chappy

Any seller, whether they are a normal seller or a Power Seller can use automated systems for leaving feedback etc. And there are also many Power Sellers who leave feedback manually.

Sorry to be awkward but I find your posts difficult to read when you capitalise the first letter of each word, could you stick to the usual lower case/capital for sentence format as I wouldn't like to miss something interesting in a post. There is so much to read on this forum that I tend to skim through otherwise and leave out any posts I have difficulty with.

    Thanks
