I wondered where all my weight was going Lunar! You have an excuse to be eating lots of chocolate at the minute anyway.

Good on you for getting christmas sorted early - you will wonder what you used to do with your time once littleun is here! x x

Penguin, im hoping not to have time for all the chocolate once my little feller is here. Hopefully i can get christmas more or less sorted before he arrives!

Miss piggy, thanks for the congratulations, you seem to be doing a pretty good job yourself of getting rid of the debt. wish iwasnt so lazy and would spend some time with comps. it looks like you have had some good wins.

Hypno, i keep on finding new things to tidy every time i sit down! theres a first time for everything i guess.

Frazzmunch, does your sig mean that you have paid off your debts and are now cracking on with your mortgage? cant wait to be in that position, that does mean i would have to be brave enough to actually buy a house. i got too scared last time. think we will try again after christmas.

Naomi, thanks for the congratulations. everyones support on here is what has helped me achieve so much over the last year. well done on your debt reduction.

I sat and made out my christmas list last night. so now i know who i have to buy for, just need to figure out what to get for everyone. I think i willhave to pop over to the special occasions board as they always give me ideas. I did hampers for everyone last year which were really well recieved but i would like to think of something else this year.

I need to get logged into all my accounts as my direct debits come out today and i want to get my sig updated. it also means i can see how much i can think about overpaying on my egg loan. the interest has worked out at £65 this month on the remaining balance so i need to try get it reduced asap. its just a shame there is no way to transfer the balance to a 0% card now my credit score has improved. oh well i should just remind myself that i was previously paying about 34% interest on this balance so this is a massive improvment.

Well, on updating my excell sheet and my sig i have now passed the half way mark on clearing my debts! I cant believe it, i know i still have a huge way to go, especially as my income will be drastically reduced in 2 months time with mat leave so i will prob only be making minimum payments. Im just so happy to have stuck with this.

Normally i am one of those people that starts things with loads of energy and has given up within a week! I think this is the first real long haul challenge that i have stuck to. I never thought i would get to this point when i started out.

I just wish the barclays site was working so i could have a look how much i have spare at the min to overpay on the egg loan.

Finally managed to get into my barclays internet banking and have made a £367 overpayment to the egg loan. I will definatly try getting it below £5000 this month. I wont have a credit card bill this month as i just did the balance transfer and the direct debit doesnt start until next month. I did pay the transfer fee off it though as i couldnt cope with increasing the total in excell and on my sig.

i was a bit naughty and had mcdonalds for lunch, the cafine filled coke has really got this baby kicking me, it was a bit of a suprise as i dont normally drink it.
