Went to my local HB today and got:
Dairy Milk Wafer: 6 bars for 50p
Pack of 9 Strawberry & Cream 2 finger KitKats (no Kitkash codes though!) for 39p (RRP on packet is £1.19)
    4 pack Loveheart sweets 29p
And if I really were an angel, I'd float over your bed
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head
And if I were an angel, I tell you what I'd do
I'd appear in a vision and I'd give my wings to you

Original Source bath foams were on sale at just 59p in the Sheffield store yesterday.
  • Spotted (and stocked up on!) the bath foams today too - a steal at that price (and better than Radox in my opinion).

Also spotted - Mini Cheddars 7-packs for 39p!
  • as an interesting aside, home bargains is called 'quality save' in manchester centre and 'home+bargain' in crewe, odd :)

Where abouts is the store in Manchester?

Don't know the name of the road.....but its the main rd at the end of the M62 leading down to the city centre. You will find H&B store on the retail park by Sainsbury's, Dunnes, Argos, Staples etc.

    Regent Road ???

  • There is one at the end of the M602 on Regent Road retail park but its called Home Bargain. There are several around the Manchester area, some called Home Bargain and some called Quality Save, but they usually stock the same stuff.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  • Theres the main one on Regent Road as mentioned, theres also Quality save branches in Walkden and Swinton centres. I visit all 3, but find the Regent Road one the best of the lot.
  • they had red-nose-day hair dye spray in my local home and bargins for 10p! we had a lot of fun in school that day but also got in a lot of troubble too!
  • I've noticed a big increase in the number of deals being posted referring to Home Bargains recently (also known as 'Quality Save' in some places).

I personally love the store, and the offers and stock do tend to change quite frequently, save for the odd few that tend to be replenished.

As Home Bargains/Quality Save is primarily a northern store (majority are North West, with a few scattered around the North East) - I figured it would be good to have a seperate thread to save the distress of those people that are unfortunately too far away from a branch.

I always look here for any bargains spotted there, so having a thread people can subscribe to could be handy.

Mods - if you disagree, please feel free to remove.
I'm a bit of a home bargains junkie - I go in at least three times a week as new deals come into ours all the time. Unfortunately I usually go first for the european chocolate (15p for a large bar) then look around for what I went in for. Scented candles 49p for 6 at the moment. Usually vgood for cards - birthdays etc - too.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I've just discovered Home Bargains - what an amazing place!! I can go in there and spend less than a tenner for a basketful of stuff - anywhere else for the same stuff it would be at least twice that. There are two that I know of locally - one in Middlesbrough town centre, near Argos (handy that!!) and another that has just opened in Coulby Newham. We stocked up on shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash and chedders (lol - weird combination, I've just realised!) last time. They did have 1ltr bottles of Toni & Guy (I think it was) shampoo and conditioner for less than £3, apparently reduced from around £18, although I haven't priced up elsewhere. They also had "kandoo" equivelants (doodoo!!) for about 40p - Kandoo are around £3.50 I think.

They also had nice bath towels at around £3.50 each (although they also had some exactly the same price and type for double that!)
