    Home bargains Huddersfield had Had a lovely Valentines day possibility, in a big box, guenuine Crystal D'Arc tall champagne glasses (2) together with a nice rose candle in a glass jar, for £3.99, only need the bottle now ;)

    Packs 10 sachets of Beechams flu + powder, Hot berry fruits flavour, contain vit c and decongestant for 99p, cheap.

    Fruit of Loom polo shirts for 99p, all sizes, but purple only :rolleyes:

    24 series 2 tapes, no price,but believe it was £2.99 for 5 tapes.

    Scart lead or 3 way splitter at 59p each.

    Body fat digital bathroom scales £9.99.

  • as an interesting aside, home bargains is called 'quality save' in manchester centre and 'home+bargain' in crewe, odd :)

    isnt that stuff just flavoured paracetamol with maybe a bit of caffine in it?
    paracetamol can cost around 20p for 16 tablets.

    as an interesting aside, home bargains is called 'quality save' in manchester centre and 'home+bargain' in crewe, odd :)

    Can't speak for Manchester but, IIRC, they were all called "Home and Bargain" (at least in the Northwest) until a livery change about six years ago.

    Yes but no but,
    as I said it also has a decongestant and vit c, fruit flavour, and they do crush it up for you and 1000mg is more than one of your 16 tabs, and you would also have to buy some asprin too, can't see caffeine.
    Makes a nice bedtime drink if you are feeling flu'ey. :rolleyes:

    And costs £3.45 down the road in Boots,;)

    It's also to do with the steam and a hot drink warms your cockles!
    I'm just getting over flu so I know! They are good for making you feel better but when you get your sense of flavour back they are minging!!! :( :drool:

    In Lancaster it is called halfpriceorless.com but has home bargains carrierbags and is defintely home bargains cos has all the same labels/products.

    My local HB in Aldridge had tropical flavoured Lucozade bottles, 24 for £1.99.
    There were tomato sauce flavoured Walkers crisps, 10p per packet, and there were milky bar chocolate covered raisins, 10p per pack.
