Keep up, the guy at the seminar said to use your credit card if you didn't have the money.
Still a bit battered from all the bad news programs on tv last night, what was it, four?Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
What about the BTLetter spiv in the program with the personalised number plate AVE IT. You can't buy class obviously
I adored that. Funniest thing I've seen for ages!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Fair play to the guy, he didn't have to dress up all nice, just because he was a millionaire..... Apparently, although £30k a week in interest would worry me a bit, wouldn't mind have a quicky look at his booksFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
He came from the "other side" of the Private/Council House divide so there must be a temptation to flaunt it.
He was keen to be seen as a good landlord, whatever his personality faults.
I just can't imagine parking that car outside of a flat when I was meeting a tenant, though. It's just too vulgar and ostentatious. I wouldn't know where to look.0 -
No one would persuade me to put my home at risk for some get rich quick thing. Everyone, well I thought everyone knew that property prices couldn`t continue to rise at the level it was rising. She is around the same age as me so why didn`t she remember the previous crash.0

The first thing I thought is, imagine hunking all your weekly shop up their, all you're frozen stuff would be defrosted even when using the lift.
But imagine you're horror when some chav has vandalised the lifts, sorry elevators.:D
People who live in those type of properties don't cook for themselves.
And if they do need to cook Ocado and Sainsburys' delivery staff are OK about taking shopping up stairs or lifts. Tesco's delivery staff tend to throw a tantrum, get lost then break things on the way.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

(10 times too much, IMO).
making such a basic error tells me that this woman should never have been allowed anywhere near the market.
are some people so gullible that they believe the banks?
'fraid so, my friends. 'fraid so.
Here lies the fundamental problem ... she was able to buy these. It beggers belief what the lender was thinking during their initial meeting.... Whoever the lender was, they should be named and shamed, regardless of this womans income this should not have gone ahead ..... how much deposit do you think she put down??
It was not even clear she had any income??! - did anyone pick this up at all?0 -

She was on her own and SOME BANK SOMEWHERE lent her million pounds
Where were the surveyors from the lender?!?!? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
The lender was thinking I can make a profit on her loss or her profit and if I dont lend someone else will
Problem is the secured loans have been almost as bad as an unsecured ones0 -
She was going to make 30 k on each flat in no time so she couldn't go wrong........... could she ?? One word..... Greed. I hope the dull cow is in bedsit land struggling now. One born every day.I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0
