If the mortgage is cheaper then renting doesnt seem so daft to me0

But the mortgage isn't cheaper than the rent. Ergo they're 2 dafties.0

I wouldn't mind that flat in the Manchester clouds with the 300 year olive grove and oak tree inside!
And you even have a view of Liverpool.
Now where did I put that spare £8 million?

The first thing I thought is, imagine hunking all your weekly shop up their, all you're frozen stuff would be defrosted even when using the lift.
But imagine you're horror when some chav has vandalised the lifts, sorry elevators.:D0 -
Mr moany is usually laid back when watching these programmes, but when the woman said she had spent £1 million pounds on property he literally sat up and gave the sharp intake of breath.
I found it difficult to have sympathy for her, I know these seminars are high pressure - I think I would have popped to the ladies and sneaked off home.
I roared with laughter at the architect, his flat and his remarks about how needed the flats are. What does he care, he's been paid.
I did think many pertinant questions were not asked, though the chap he was trolling around - he's worth £7 million don'tcherknow - was asked how much his debt was and it was £4 million!
Only the young chap who snapped up bargains at auction seemed to have his feet on the ground - though he was not asked how much he owed and he was still buying rather than waiting.
I would have liked to know how the young Asian guys had financed their property empires. There were vague mutterings about family and friends - but to buy 20 properties on that basis seems a bit fanciful.
You know, I'm not sure that 'buyer beware' is okay when people are buying property. I feel very sympathetic towards the young couple and I hope they enjoy their flat. It was 50% share with the local council - or did I mishear and it was an ex-council block and private developer?0
