Is that £119 for one person or two?

The problem (for me) is that Ryanair don't actually fly to Barcelona airport.

Ryanair fly to Girona and Reus and not Barcelona BCN.

  • OK..that flight cost is for 3 ......
Thank you guys and thank God I posted here before I booked accomodation. Let me get the map out and look for a cottage by the sea...shoot, 58 miles from Barcelona...what is that about? If it says London, I don't expect it to be Birmingham.
Just shows how inexperienced I am.
Now I need to try and find a way to hire a car without a credit card.

The important bit is the 3 letter airport code, just google it with the word airport to get more information about the destination.

Its always worth checking how far an airport is from the place you wana be working at "london" stansted I often get asked where big ben is or how far to the the london eye, and depending on mood they often get a "just turn right out of the terminal and its all behind the control tower" answer, I also live near "london" southend airport which if no one knows is approx 40miles to central london. Its a funny old world really.

    all the best

  • that sounds like a great deal to me paintycait, £40 each for a flight to spain which could have been £32 each with electron and in school holiday time too

dont worry about cancellations and that sort of thing, statistics show ryanair do it better than everyone else, on time, lost bags, cancellations etc

Don't you just love that "lost bags" stat, when they hardly take any hold baggage to lose!

I think Ryanair actually run a bus from the airport to Barcelona itself, but don't quote me on it. If not, there will be another bus.

last night I was looking for cheap flights to Barcelona during the Scottish tattie holidays (two weeks in October). Booking from a Scottish airport is usually a wee bit expensive so I checked out Newcastle...I was just looking for the absolute cheapest bottom line...not really checking too hard into details. Ryanair came up with a fantastic bottom line booked it..double checked it..it was a free flight...can that be right?
    PAYMENT DETAILS
    *********0.00 GBP Total Fare
********95.19 GBP Taxes, Fees & Charges
********24.00 GBP Passenger Fee: Debit Card Fee
    *******119.19 GBP Total Paid
Wasn't till afterwards I realaised the flight was free?????
I am wth you on this, but I think you have gone over some peoples heads, nice one, managed to pull it back from the brink:T
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
