    Morning all

One load of washing out but it's grey and cold today.

Did all the kitchen and also damp wiped the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Waiting for the drain man to come now and sort out my smelly sewer :(

    [STRIKE]Check those washing machine filters!
Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!![/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET[/STRIKE]

I havew also clean the living room floor and hover under all the furniture in there too. Much easier to do it when DD and DS are at playschool/school.
I have even managed to put their bikes back in the summerhouse.
Looks so much better which makes me feel better.

Thank you pigpen for putting up the list EVERY week.
My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............Try and have dinner ready for DH when he gets in not 3 hours later !!

Dusty- If you still have the boots vouchers I would love them. I always need nappies and stuff epecially as I seem to habvve bought DD the wrong size nappies and opened them before I realised so can't take them back:mad:

No problem if they have gone but would hate for them to go to waste.

Must dash should have left 5 minutes ago to pick up DD>

Just emailed ex about his contribution to the cost of DD's Brownie uniform (we're splitting the cost) and he's just informed me that he can't make it on the 30th for her getting enrolled  The uniform wouldn't be here in time any way (I forgot to order it last week) so now I need to speak to her Brownie leader (who just happens to work at the school ;) ) about postponing it until the following week. Therefore Daddy & uniform can be there - and I'll let her write a countdown on her calender as well as she's really excited about getting enrolled.

yawn3.gif Why do cappuccinos make me more sleepy?

I've only managed to do one load of dishes, and its taken up the entire drainer! So yet again its more than one lot of washing up  Off to do another some more studying.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Washing up done, surfaces done. Pup is asleep so won't get out the hoover for a while.:D Need to make flapjacks for DH's packed lunch, so will do that now and then get the ironing over with.

as an aside, the Sep/Oct magazine from Morrisons is full of lush recipes, made slow-cooked steak and ale yesterday and fruity brioche and butter pudding (This has become our special occassion dessert!!! full of eggs and cream); and this week I am making perfect cauliflower cheese, cider-glazed chicken with apples and shallots and spaghetti with spicy sausage balls. Plus there are some great ideas for halloween (evil laugh!) Even if don't shop there, you could nip in and get one from down by the tills.

Back to the kitchen i go....
Goals: Have a Homemade Christmas 2008, lose a 1 and a half stone, be thankful for everything I have.

    Made banana loaf to freeze
Just going to post receipe for JJef and then do Mum's trust tax return

It is amazing how jobs I don't want to do feel more appealing when I want to do things that require no energy.
