Vanilla and Hex, not seen either of you post for a while - hope you are ok

:hello: Hi Dusty, I am fine thanks for asking.

I worked every day last week and every day except today this week so not a lot of time to do anything. I don't know how those who work full time and have children cope. I usually only do 10 hours, but I swapped my hours round for when DS2 was part time at school the first few weeks and now I have to make the time up. Shattered, and the house is a tip :o .

I had to go food shopping this morning, so now I have just under two hours to get the ground floor at least back to respectable. Bedding is in the WM but that is all I have done so far. If you see my green light on after 13.15 feel free to kick me.

I need to have a think about a MACAW - great idea though DeniseNZ.

Hugs for those in need, and hello to the newbies.

    Hi ladies!

Ok, before I start with my list - I have a new aluminium bathroom cupboard covered in fingerprints as it has only just gone up on the wall. Any clues on how to clean it? You can PM me if you don't want to clutter up the thread.. Any hints would be helpful!

White vinegar and a microfibre cloth... I have a brushed aluminium cooker hood... I hate it daily.. though it looks fabulous when clean..

washing up liquid solution and squeegee'd off works too

Just a quick note for michelle - cleaning cat pee with starclens? Starclens has ammonia in it which will surely add to the smell as doesnt cat pee smell like ammonia. I thought the best thing to use was was washing powder/liquid to get rid of smell  . DOnt you just hate it when anything happens to the car and always when you need it most  .
ta honey. DH was using it before i had chance to think as i was feeding sam. will try that tonight. all i could think was bicarb for the smell.

and luckily it was my car and not dh's as he had filled it with £90 of diesel for going to his parents. mine spends most of its life on the drive at the moment.

hope your head clears and you feel a bit better today.
