Hi G&B - we often go to a local tyre place and they do what they call part worns, which are virtually brand new tyres - about £15-£25 each rather than £40+ - might be worth asking them (won't find those at kwikfit and chums though)

Do you need all of them changing or just the fronts/backs? I know it's best to have good tyres all round, but if you only need two, maybe it will give you chance to save for the other two (savings? ha! what's that? :o )

    Morning all,
    :) a shiny new list.
I went a bit OTT yesterday cleaning as I knew time would be restricted this week- but at least I won't feel so bad not doing all the things this week :) As a result though back is :confused::confused:, hence the M.A.C.A.W involves doing my exercises.
    Better go get DS organised.
Best wishes for now and hugs to all who want one.
    x OS

    Own list
    - make more Christmas cards
    - put away dry clothes- tomorrow once more are dry
    - transfer clothes from airer to line (unlikely unless back gets a lot better VERY soon).
    - go to sing and sign with DS
    - transfer holiday money to new acc
    - get mop head
    - check finances

Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Level 1, 2 3- did all this yesterday :) (good job!)

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............to do my back exercises twice a day EVERY day- people please feel free to question me and make sure I do this- I NEED TO DO THEM.

    Morning

Off to work in 5 mins so just a quickie. House is a tip but I've left a list for teenie, well, he's to do the kitchen there's tea stuff all over the place AGAIN  one of these days I'll start clearing AFTER tea and not the next day.

Done some money shifting online and just viewed my latest gas bill - wish I hadn't cause I'm fuming £245.00  it's been blummin summer! I've only used it in the most part for baths/hot water! How the hecky peck is it that much! They'd poke your blimmin eyes out wouldn't they....grrr so, I need to do something about this tonight - maybe switch and get those stoopid pre-payment meters taken off grrrrrrr...

It's very wintery here today brrrrrr the wind's howling and it's very dark.....doesn't really put a spring in your step does it.

Got work for 6 hrs today, 1 x 2 hrs and 2 x 2hrs jobs carried over from Thursday when I was off......I'm still bunged up so hope I can manage it ok, I'll not be back in till gone 8pm cause I have to do weight training tonight straight after too.....still...it's good for me.

Right, best sort my work bag out then make a move

    morning

had a bit of a lie in this morning as decided not going in to work as woke with a headache again, thats every day for a week and it drags me down and I cant concentrate. Not sure if its linked to the anaemia especially as I've been trying to look after myself better and have been sticking to my diet. Just finishing brekky at the moment then will either go back to bed for a while or have a soak in the bath and a kip on the sofa.

Just a quick note for michelle - cleaning cat pee with starclens? Starclens has ammonia in it which will surely add to the smell as doesnt cat pee smell like ammonia. I thought the best thing to use was was washing powder/liquid to get rid of smell  . DOnt you just hate it when anything happens to the car and always when you need it most  .

Oh and was that a new flyfella in our midst - welcome to our world (best watch what we say now ladies :D )

Hope you all have a good day, I'll pop back in later.

    C U then
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Hi embb - Two things - One - how do you owe money if you have prepayment meters?
and two - I don't know if you inherited the ppm's but if you did, you may unknowingly have them set up to pay back an unpaid bill - I had that once when we moved house - the previous tennant owed about £500 and was paying back £5 a week - it was good in a way as I got a bit of a windfall back, but it was a pain while we were paying it - sometimes we were really skint and I couldn't work out how we used so much...

Morning all. Very quiet here this morning. Got lots to be getting on with this week and I'm hoping upon hope that I do not have to work on Saturday, as I have the past 3 weeks. It just completely throws my whole routine out and I hate working at the weekend anyway.

I did a fair bit of the list yesterday so I have cheated a bit. Still plenty to do though as always.

Looks like my e baying has stopped before it's started. I dug out the digital camera yesterday. Put it on to charge and nothing appears to be happening. So it looks like it's broken. Have hardly used it either.

Right off to make a start be back later. Any one fancy a HHC give me a shout and I'll join you.;)
