I'm in, will be a bit patchy though with uni etc.
Mudbath - My mum found magnets incredibly useful a couple of years ago for a 'Frozen' shoulder. I told her about them and she was very sceptical but gave it a go, she was very surprised at the results! Her range of movement almost doubled and her pain was greatly reduced. She used the little plasters with magnets in them. HTH
MACAW - I will lay out school clothes and do packed lunches the night before. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Me too please - will try to keep up this week so I don't have so much to do on Friday!
I have my two children on the MACAW too - DS will brush his teeth am and pm - it's a bit haphazard at th emo but at nealry 12 he really should have this down now - and with several adult teeth we need to look after them!
DD will unpack her lunch box each day and put the rubbish in the bin when she gets in from school and put the fruit box on the side for the DW.
As for me - well I'm aiming to deal with a hotspot for 5 minutes each day to reduce them - I'm not really getting any done.
Good luck one and all! Hugs to all too!:DSealed Pot 617 - target £150 only managed £27 in 2009!0 -
I'll try and be in - but you know me - work or community or some other stuff will get in the way :rotfl:
Just need to remake my bed (washed the sheets today) and then go lie in it. I'm off on Tues and Friday this week due to Other Things so it's going to be a nicely broken up one.

I'm in, busy week so nothing new there, however I have a cunning plan
I need to get the conservatory, sitting room and dining room reorganised as things went to pot before the hols...........but I have a 'carrot' to get DP to help, I've said he can use the conservatory for his cross trainer to free up some space in his garage as to be honest we rarely use the conservatory and it becomes a dumping area for files, paperwork, books etc. Anyway I said if he helps reorganise things and tidy up/deep clean it can go in there so he's happy as the garage is 'his space'.
Still up because been phoning vets, Megan's really struggling tonight, her shoulder keeps giving way on her and she's really limpingvet said what I thought, arthritis playing up if she's no better tomorrow afternoon take her in, I know she's 11 but I try not to think about it too much. They did say last time she was in there isn't much can be done, she's an old lady for a GSD, but she still thinks she's a puppy sometimes, bounces about like an idiot and hurts herself again.
Well anyway, my MACAW for this week will be to make sure everything is ready for the boys for school on the night before, inc uniforms, pack ups, bags, homework etc etc (aswell as last weeks which is to be packed on Fridays before the boys finish school)
Rght, best get my hair dried and off to bed (forgot about a shower for me until I checked one of my lists) so goodnight everyone (PS AnWsMum you're not the only one
)
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Ooh I have just realised that...even though I can't fly till Thursday (Might flutter a bit Mon/Tues/Weds - or I might not) I can MACAW 'til then!
Tis a big birthday week in Valliland - DS is 15 on Thursday and I am - oh let me see ... 21 +15 must be 36 then lol - on Friday!
MACAW Obviously in view of my great age...I will apply hand and foot cream every night...with any luck it'll develop into a habit - much needed since I wash up bare handed in very hot water!
BTW AnW's mum - sometimes this is the only adult company for me, too!
Now what I should be doing is sorting the kitchen...there are pots to wash and put away but Along Came A Spider is on and I do love that film and I haven't seen it for ages
6am alarm for me then - if not 5.45!
Wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't have felt ill earlier.
Night all whether you FLY or flutter or flap - now that's more like me!
BTW Pigpen thought your wording of the MACAW challenge ace!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I'm in
My flying improved this week as I seem to be in a bit more of a routine!
Still can't decide on my MACAW tho
Those of you chatting about magnetic bracelets, plasters, etc. - do you think they would help with my arm? If so, where do I get them and what might work best? I've been taking painkillers now for nearly 5 months and tbh I'd like to wean myself off them!!
