I popped into school to speak to the headteacher about whether I should go in or not tomorrow. When I explained I had a virus and was itching like mad he told me to take as long as I need to stop itching. I'm hoping a full day of antihistamines will help as the itch is spreading. So I'm going to spend the next day or so ebaying stuff.

I love the pre-filled DVD listings :rotfl::rotfl:Now its onto the books....

I don't find stardrops amazing either to be honest, I do use it but not for everything. I wouldn't be without my bleach spray for the kitchen for instance, but hope to use stardrops for the bathroom once my CIF spray or whatever it is has run out (though I only go through a bottle every year or so!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Must admit, I'm like Sarah and love stardrops - but too much is a pain so make sure you dilute it enough. I use it in my white wash too as it helps them come out lovely and white (just a little squirt in with the powder)... but still use bleach on my kitchen cloths, ect as I love bleach too... Basically all I need is bleach, stardrops, window cleaner (I just use Lidl cheap spray and paper towel or teatowel) and 100% limescale remover toilet cleaner (can't believe how much limescale builds up), oh, and polish... that pretty much does it for me, nice and cheap...:DLBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Dusty - I was thinking about toots earlier and wondering how she was doing. Hope she's back tomorrow. If she has to take it easy for a bit she can boss us around!

- Sort & clean fridge
- Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Ooooh not to bad. I can probably go and get that done now. See you later xx

Afternoon ladies! I popped in yesterday evening, but was really tired and didn't feel great so hadn't done any flying and didn't have anything exciting to say!
I have the two boys home today, as they don't feel well either. DS2 has been unwell all weekend, most unlike him, and he hasn't stopped complaining. DS1 went into school, and then rang at 10 for me to pick him up. I've had to fly round them today, and while that worked well in the kitchen, it wasn't so successful in the livingroom - I have done a bit of tidying and vacuumed all of it, but it's all cluttered up again with computer bits. If I had the energy, I'd throw a tantrum.
Day's supply very probable for tomorrow, which will be a nice extra bonus, and it's in a school I've wanted to go to, to see if I like it and would want to work there. It's very close to home, so I'd be able to do the bedroom on schedule in the evening.
mudbath - Well done!
dusty - glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. If it's the same bug we've had, we felt very unwell. DS2 had a cold develop, but I just felt really shivery and not well.
boddy - pleased that your mum enjoyed the visit! Quite agree that too many visitors can be overwhelming - but then it is quite nice to be overwhelmed once in a while! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Hope you're starting to feel better serena. Think we've all come down with that bug - shivery and tired and like we've got colds but we haven't. It's a shame because i'm not allowed to go to work with any illness but I caught up at home a lot.
Does anyone know when the new planning permission for paving your driveway comes in? xx0 -
Oh dear...it's 1st October. I think we've left it too late to it sorted before that date so it's planning permission for us xx0

If you can start it before Wednesday it doesn't count - you only have to start on the removal of what you already have and that is OK - they can't ask for retrospective planning permission...
It is also just to make sure you have the correct drainage, ect and that any drainage goes into correct waste pipes, not sewerage pipes, ect, so it shouldn't cost any more, just your planning permission costs ()
