Still cannot get to grips with the stardrops, I MUST be doing something wrong still~~~~~ they just don't seem to get stuff clean~~ I'll have another go at the weekend with them.

I personally don't rate stardrops for most jobs. They were good for cleaning the paddling pool and I use them to wash the bathroom floor but that is about all.

Just picked up a MS for tomorrow for somewhere I have to go to tomorrow anyhow so very handy.

Soring out my box of gardening stuff - seeds etc as still don't feel like doing anything else.

Swimming after school for DS3 not sure if I can to be in there as it is so warm.

I'm working up to having a shower and doing another HHC, watching diagnosis murder now so I will do 3-3.30pm if anyone wants to join me, will attempt to wash up and do kitchen list.

my soup is lovely, just need to work out how to take it to work tomorrow, can warm it up but don't know if a lock and lock type thing will be ok without leaking...

just chatting to DH on msn, he's feeling a bit queasy and gonna come home soon, he should've stayed off today really. However we've just agreed he'll keep all his grocery receipts for the bits he tops up with and that we'll try really hard with the grocery challenge this month, not obsessively but under £220 for the month.

    Hi

I have turbo listed 2 things and i will upload later on. I have also update my spending spreadsheet, i shouldn't be spending anything else today.

Ds2 is asleep i'm going to have fun putting him to bed later  if i wake him up now though he'll be sooooo grumpy.

I'm going to put the washing on the airer and have a quick tidy of the living room then crack on with my insurance form. By the time i've done that it should be time to assemble the lasagne and make the garlic bread.
  • Sarah it is two of my BFs birthdays that day too and one will be 40!

    HHHmmmmm *thinks*

Have you diluted it enough? I found that when I used it first, it was too foamy. I dilute it at least 1-5 now. Some say 1-8. I have mine mixed in a spray bottle.

So, for a S&S of most things, I'd spray 1 squirt of 1-5 onto a sponge, squeeze it to work it through the sponge, and wipe over, that usually does it. For the windows, I'd spray one spray of 1-5 directly onto the glass, and wipe it over with the sponge, wiping off/drying it with a tea towel.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs! HTH!!! :D

have made some good progress in HHC and now having a quick sit before I shower and get dressed (only into trackies but prob feel better out of pjs i'm sure)

Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
Sweep and mop floors - must buy a mop rather than hands & knees!
    Level Three
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!! - will do this after WM has finished
    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. clean the hob.
    2. fold up washing on airer.
    3. WM - towels & cloths
    4. order clubcard deals - hopefully if they come on time free meal for us before the opera on sat
    5. look into replacement freezer basket (one missing and need the extra space) - too expensive
    6. make smear appt
also just phoned the council about garden recycling that hasn't been collected. My bread is attempting to prove but its not really warm enough in here today. All in all I think i've done well considering i feel rough. DH is doing dinner though its gonna be dead easy and quick as he's not right either. He's on his way home early and has just texted in a non-happy mood as all kinds of disruption to the journey!

Hope it works for you honey. I couldn't get to grips with it in the beginning, but like that works brilliantly for me. I'm sure I've saved an absolute fortune too :money: I'm still using the first bottle I bought months and months ago! :j

Same goes for me too TOOTS!! Hope you're back soon. Is it tomorrow DK?

I've had a nice day. Ended up going to the library this morning to research stuff. I love looking through dusty old books and pamphlets from 150 years ago (but I'm sad like that!).

Then toddled over to the Town Hall and had photos and tea and sandwiches with the Mayor. I didn't realise one of the sandwiches had brie in it. I hate brie. But I manfully had to chew my way through it. I could hardly spit it out! Not in the Mayor's parlour!

Then tootled back to the library for another couple of hours. And now I'm home again with lots of photocopied stuff I need to sort out.

But I feel quite relaxed and unstressed which is really nice! I might even get the dyson out for a quick whizz round...
