Grr freezer baskets are about £20 and as its not my freezer (rented flat) don't want to spend that, wonder if we coud get some plywood or similar cut to size to act as a shelf.

  • :j I did it! all the mini workouts from the "5-day fat burner". It was quite tough esp. with all that jumping. (I'm a G-cup and there isn't a bra in the world supportive enough! lol!) Had to lock the pup away 'cause he kept jumping up at me whilst I was flailing around the living room. I've still got to do that twice more before i've done my MACAW:eek: To everyone who has their MACAW as exercise a big "Come on, you can do it!!"

    I'm starving now:rolleyes:

off for a shower then to tackle the LR. No messing!
Goals: Have a Homemade Christmas 2008, lose a 1 and a half stone, be thankful for everything I have.

  • Morning All..... slinks in head down .... Haven't done anything since Friday, downstairs looks a tip   .... and now MY boiler's playing up!! The bloomin thing keeps getting stuck on So suddenly it's boiling in here!!! Not what we need with gas prices the way they are!!  (lord, I sound like my mother!)

Anyway, I've got a gas bloke coming out (thank goodness for the cover, we need it!) And the cable guy coming to fit my new V+ box :j :j

So, anyone on for a HHC 10.45-11.15?

Gotta try and knock things back into shape down here!

My MACAW is to explain what I mean, instead of being mad with the OH for not understanding me.

Im up for that HHC SS.
  • Well, a bit of a wash-out yesterday.......

Wasn't feeling so great (actually, still don't feel quite 100% now I think about it), and once dinner and the washing-up were done, I only managed to get the fridge cleaned out and the dining room table cleared and cleaned. Sloped off to bed before ten o'clock, and slept right through to the alarm!

Not much done though, when you consider what I'd intended to do :(

Still, that's two things I might not have done otherwise - which I suppose is the whole point of it, all things considered?

Anyway - onwards and upwards, and we'll see what can be done today!

The plan for living room/stairs/hall is:

Vacuum floors and sofas (including around, behind and underneath!)
    Dusting shelves, bookcases, mantel
    Sweep and polish fireplace
Remove clutter - or at least, make a start on it
Give TV, stereo and other electricals a good wipe-down
    Clean bannisters and skirting boards
Fill a binbag. Sling in bin before we get the chance to change our mind
    Clean windows, sills and surrounds.

And, of course - there's still plenty to be going on with in the kitchen. See how that all goes, then.....

Hoping you're all going on well this day :)
Oh come on, don't be silly.

    It's the internet
    - it's not real!

Sorry bit hectic yesterday so didn't get chance to pop in. I hope you're all ok. Dusty and boddy, thanks for asking, Megan's still limping but then she runs for a bit, vet said nothing much can be done she just needs to realise she's old, of course if she didn't get up and follow me EVERYWHERE I go, she'd probably better but my 2 big silly dogs are my shadows. Ideal excuse for me to sit down, so the dog does, but of course life isn't like that. I've been keeping her on lead for most walks anyway, had to let her roll in the freshly cut grass this morning tho because she loves that and was trying to roll with the lead on (pulling me over)

Need to get a new sideboard, hopefully today, mine in the conservatory has collapsed! I need it because all the big files, books etc are stored in there (possibly why it collapsed) so looking now on Argos, Tesco direct, I*** etc to see what I can find.

As Grandma said 'You can't put anything in it's place if it doesn't have a place' so looking for other storage for more homeless objects we seem to have at the mo aswell. She had a 'homeless box' in the cupboard for things without a place, I have rooms of them, so need to do something.

Oh my MACAW is going well too, bought DS1 a new bag yesterday that actually fits all his things in for school which I am sure will help as he's been depositing between 2 and 4 bags through the house when he gets home. The not having to make paked lunches on a morning in a hurry is great. Have a nice day everyone xxxx
One day I might be more organised...........
