It looks like it will be one night only per person.

Which makes it a lot less desirable. It is worth it for two nights, but if you are travelling a distance unless the hotel is absolutely fantastic, one night just is not worth it.

You have to put on the three hotels you want, the two dates and then they tell you within 7 days if you have it or not.

This way they are going to have to input on the rooms manually, which will take time.

It states that you are going to have to agree to the terms and conditions on the form before sending it.

Will they tell us the sales terms and conditions before the day, because otherwise since it is done on a first come first served basis, the people who get the rooms will be the people who click the button first, and they will be the people who do not read the terms and conditions.

I'm just concerned that in the current climate they will probably go bankrupt and no one will get a room.

Where does it say that it's only one room per person? Is it this:

"Submission of this online form within the 80-minute promotion interval is the only way to potentially secure one of the 6,000 room nights that are available at the USD 19.28 rate."

If that's the case, the number of people applying will plummet. It's really not worth it for one night, unless someone is local.


The issue that makes me wary is the lack of payment/taxes mentioned. We are to present the confirmation to the actual hotel, so we don't give any payment to LHW? If so, it's possible the hotel can just knock back the reservation.

Also, the element of lottery/first-come, first-served has disappeared as their admin/sale staff can choose who they want from the forms (they'll probably apportion it on a demographic basis).

seeing as the 'available dates vary for each hotel' it would be useful for them to tell us the actual dates, to save us wasting one of our date submissions on a date that isn't even available.

no. i think i read in the last email i received that they would no longer be emailing info on the offer, just putting it on their website (i assumed this was so some of the people would forget about it or not check the website.. cough like me until today )

Has anyone seen any sign on the web site of this offer. They say the page will go live 24 hours before but looks the ssame to me? Am I missing something?:eek:

In addition, we have become increasingly concerned that a large number of non-registered respondents plan to submit forms which would inundate the system and greatly diminish your chances of securing a USD 19.28 rate.

24 hours before is 3pm today.
Interesting to see if it goes to plan though. I wouldn't know whether to laugh at them or feel sorry for all their troubles if there was another !!!!-up.
