Painting coving .. help settle a tiff, please!

I agree with all above, also its much easier to 'cut under the coving' with the wall colour, than try and paint the edge/lip with the wall colour, you treat the coving as one, also it can look quite silly if you painted the lip.;)
BTW, treat the plaster coving as though you would new plaster, give the coving a thin coat (mistcoat) first, as the coving with suck it up, also, dont apply the paint on too thick, as it sort of dries as you go along, and can look patchy if applied too thick, or straight from the can.0 -
