I personally would not get a seagate, never touch them, were called seacrate, because they were always in a crate back across the sea....0

The only differences between the two seem to be:
Interface type: ATA-133 (Hitachi) and ATA-100 (Seagate)
Seek Time: 8.5ms (Hitachi) and 11ms (Seagate)
Are they both compatible?
What about fitting - will they be easy? And will they need formatting or something?
So pick one with a similar spec. to the existing one. I did say that you would get varying opinions regarding the manufacturer! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
