yeah open audacity then select file->open and navigate to the wav file you created then do the ctrl A to select all.
Yeah theres a plugin for converting to mp3 called Lame
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help...&item=lame-mp3
Download it and unzip it to a location, when you hit File->export to MP3 it will ask for a DLL, just navigate to where you unzipped the lame files, find the dll and open it. You only have to do this once.
And your away."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

You should be able to choose lots of options when you are exporting to mp3 to allow for better compression.
Definately select mono, because presumably the source was mono, and a low bitrate (e.g. 64 kbps) and the file should end up at <20mb.Russia is HERE0 -

I had done this the other day and put it on the desk top, have, I think unzipped it and the, lame_enc.dll is sitting alongside the, libmp3lame... zipped file., but when I have just tried another recording and exported as MP3, saved to desktop, at no time did it ask me for a DLL.
Remember this is an audio record not music, I don't know if that makes a difference.
I think I might have to leave this now as your good efforts at explaining are not registering correctly with me, and if I need to send it to some one I will have to burn it to a CD, just thought if I could e-mailit, then it would be quicker and cheaper.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0
