Both these cables are dearer than the ones I quoted(this is a money saving forum) & also one is sold by a merchant on Amazon, I also thought this was not allowed to be recommended.

it is about money saving but not at the expense of quality. i just searched for shorter cables and put the links to show them as examples. there are many more available on there and elsewhere. as far as the merchant thing goes i didnt notice that about the one in question and i didnt know it was against any rules.

what i said regarding loss of quality is based on what many other people have said in these forums about how too long a cable can reduce the picture quality. i have a 1m cable and it is more than long enough.
