No if you ring the 10p a minute number it gives a recorded message telling you to ring the £1 a minute number. Well it did when I tried to call it afew weeks ago

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

And isn't that absolutely typical of Ryannair!

No way!!! They charge you 10p a minute to tell you to phone a £1 minute line? Now that is taking the pish.

If that's the case I stand corrected and eat a big dish of humble pie :D.

I'm sure I successfully used that number last year though - maybe it's a new thing.
  • I've read the posts from last year and wondered if anyone had any more recent information. My daughters is travelling with friends and one parent booked for all but spelt her first name wrongly Holly instead of Hollie. I cannot find anything on the Ryannair site other than a full name change at £95. I've filled in the advance passenger info as requested but still couldn't change the spelling - anyone else this has happened to and risked going to airport? Coming back they are flying Easy Jet and there is advice on their website about this same situation.

I booked tickets for a Valerie then found out she spelt it Valarie. I did not tell her of the mistake to avoid her being a bag of nerves going through security - I checked in online.
I did not want to voluntarily pay £90+ to change an E to an A so took the risk, I would have paid up on the day if I had to - no problems either way.
