I already have an existing e-save account.
I have just opened a second e-save account. How long does it take until this shows up online?
As an existing online customer and if the application was accepted immediately and not provisionally (did you get a new account number there and then?), I think it should be the next working day, assuming you opened it before close of business -- which I think could be 6.30 pm for online purposes (it is for payments going out, anyway). I didn't have an e-Savings account with NatWest before but have a current account with them and am a NWOLB user, and I opened one yesterday which I can see today and transferred £1 into.
I'll put more into it at the end of January for the best use of the bonus, as others have suggested earlier in the thread -- would never have picked up on that part of it otherwise, so thanks guys~cottager0 -
Thanks. I will check online tomorrow.
Assuming this is opened in December, I will move my money in at the end of January.0 -

Not us - we tried to withdraw money tonight from our eSaver and got the same problem.
Their web site is totally misleading, its says;
"Do I need an existing NatWest account? No. You don’t need to have another account with us to open an e-Savings account.
"How do I make withdrawals? Simply make an electronic transfer from your e-Savings account to any other UK bank account"
and maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong but unless you've got another NatWest account with a card and card reader YOU CAN'T DO THIS.
All of this from one of the UK's biggest High Street Banks. What an embarassment.0 -

Have you tried calling the natwest actionline (08457 888 444) and see if they can set up a new payee on your account for your to pay the money.0 -
