Try going to a BMW or Mercedes dealer and buy a standard car, almost everyone comes out the factory slightly differently unless its part of a fleet .
The only thing to do it try to be honest when you fill out the prop form.
I would be suprised if an insurer would take any notice of metalic paint , which is where all this started. In most cases if the vehicle is repairable it would be taken away and repaired, as long as it has no special paint effects, decals or stickers.
The majority of cars now are mettallic or pearl/mica, and the extra cost is minimal.0
