Tje chances of them getting your paperwork done and sorted for 1st October is slim to nil , i'd guess they will be expecting payment on 1st of November
One thing about CCCS is they are on your side, and if you are not sure about anything just give them a call
Have you joined any of the cashback sites and survey sites yet, its a good way to get a few extra £'S
Yeah, thanks. I think I will pay my reduced offers direct to my creditors as I did last month and then ring CCCS next week to see when they want me to start paying them. I was a bit worried as I cant afford to make my own payments on the 1st and then again all in one month.
I haven't tried any cashback sites yet, Im trying not to spend money at the moment, but I will have a browse through sometime soon. Cheers Monkey0 -
To save on postage put your token payments to your creditors in with your letter from CCCS
I do daily clicks on a few sites, its not much (i don't do them all) but a tenner a month or so it takes a while to filter its way through save it up for a treat every now and again
If you do signup to any have a look on the referrals board , might aswell let some other MSE'r get a few bobPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT NERD #869

Not very often something like this happens! After sending in my own sort of DMP last month, I was mostly ignored by my creditors, and even after cancelling all my DD's, my loan company still drew the difference out of my account without my consent. I rang them up last week and explained I was struggling keeping up payments and they had taken the extra money from my bank. To be fair, I was lucky and got a really nice understanding guy who said he'd look into my case.
Just checked my bank account online and Hey Presto.....A REFUND! They have actually refunded the "overpayment" (although it was strictly a payment due) Makes you realise that there are some "humans" working at those call centres0 -

Hi fellow monkey. Thanks for asking. Well I have my DMP pack from CCCS and I have only just got round to getting all the paperwork together that they asked for. My printer/copier is on meltdown! I have also got all my documents and debit card from my new bank so all I need to do there is arrange for my wages to be paid into my new account and set up all the direct debits. Then its wait to hear from CCCS for the next stage. Oh yeah, I've got to send off all the "Notice of DMP's" to all my creditors too. Im looking forward to when everything settles down and hopefully the creditors will settle for the regular payments until I sell my house :rotfl: Yeah I know, god knows when that will happen, but I cant afford to drop the price too much, and virtually give it away!
I will keep you informed of any updates. Thanks for asking mate...Monkey0 -
Hi all,
Just a bit of an update on my DMP etc. I received my DMP pack from CCCS yesterday with a full list of offers to all the creditors. These new amounts, worked out by CCCS are significantly lower than the reduced payments I have been paying my creditors for the past two months. I hope they are all accepted. I have had 90% success with my original offers, only ones being awkward are LTSB C/C and Barclaycard but hopefully now CCCS are involved maybe that will change.
Another development is, my daughter and her fiance who live in a rented flat, both working etc are also finding it hard to make ends meet in these financially challenging times, and seem to be spending all their incomes on trying to keep their home together. We all had a chat the other day and have decided that they move in with me and share the expenses. They are currently paying over £900 per month, before food, car running expenses etc and more importantly for a couple in their early twenties....entertainment. They are living a lifestyle of a middle aged couple and if they carry on living like "a pair of hamsters in a cage" they'll probably split up. So, time to rearrange a few things in my three bedroomed semi and all live in harmony, hopefully, and all be a little better off financially!
I'll keep you informed on how it goes. be a little while yet as they have to honour their lease.0 -
Still fighting LTSB card services. Although I've written to them three times and paid lower monthly payments, they are still taking the extra money out of my bank, sending my overdraft sky high! Spent two hours on the phone yesterday but no joy! Hopefully my DMP will kick in very soon and they accept the offers worked out by CCCS
Just trying to make it to the end of the month now when my wages get paid into my new bank account and hopefully start afresh, and learn to manage my money a bit better.
I am trying to cram in as many NSD's as I can until month end0 -

Hi Numpty, I cant do that because its overdrawn and apparently if an account is overdrawn the bank wont let you close the account. What a bummer!
Im quite looking forward to having a bit of company. I know it will take some getting used to but it helps us all so got to be a good thing.
Cheers Numpty mate0
