Free? Laptops no longer to be described as Free by some suppliers.

"Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u and 3 have stopped promoting laptop deals with the word ‘free’.
Carphone believes that ‘free’ could be construed as misleading and fall foul of Trading Standards regulations."

    Thats because they are NOT Free, you eventually end up paying for them in the long run.( Web User magazine .)

  • Also explains why talktalk get away with advertising "free" broadband - they change the package names every 6 months (change due soon I imagine) otherwise they would have to tell it as it is ie. cheap
