Morgan Stanley / Barclays / Leeds & Holbeck Credit Card

Has anyone received their card and PIN seeing as it moving over to Barclaycard?

It says should receive by 20th but I received neither yet.

What happens to the old/current card in a few days time, does it get disabled?

  • Some people have received their cards and/or PINs - see other posts in this forum. I have my new card, but no PIN.

The latest letter I've received from Barclaycard says the following:
From 22nd September onwards, your new card will be working and your old Morgan Stanley card will no longer work.

I just had another letter from them saying that. But still no sign of the card/PIN.

So looks like the card and PIN gone missing. Spoke to Goldfish Customer Services who were not helpful; said will pass details onto Barclaycard to sort. So looks like I will be without a card form Monday; even worse am going away this week!!!

I have not received my new card or PIN. I spoke to Goldfish Customer Services yesterday and they said "there has been a delay in sending them out"!
  • Its well annoying; why they have to go changing the numbers!

What happens to refunds after the 22nd - will they still arrive on new card?
  • Have Goldfish got rid of the Leeds BS Mastercard already ?
  • Not that I aware off - dont think you can apply anymore for it but the card is still Leeds BS provided by Goldfish/Barclaycard
  • Finally got the card today - the postmark on the envelope says sent out 20/09. MmmM!!!

Phoned up and told PIN should be by Wed and the existing card i.e. one from Goldfish will work till Sunday.

Cant believe that the card does not need to be activated! If this had gone astray anyone could have used it and spent thousands. I dont think its a good start
  • Just try registering for Internet Access!! The e-mail telling me my statement was available took me to Barcalycard registration. I filled in the form sent it off and it told me I was using a Leeds BS card. It directed me to - guess what - Barclaycard registration page. A phone call on an 01 number was answered by a stressed individual who blamed the problem on a power cut and then put the phone down on me. An e-mail to Leeds BS elicited the following reply:
Please accept my apologies for the problems you have incurred during the time we have changed over to Barclays. This is not the level of service we expect our customers to receive. Following feedback to Barclaycard we have been assured that the problems our customers have had will be resolved as soon as possible.
I should hope so too!! Right now I am ditching the card.

I received my card and pin in good time.

I took the card out a couple of months ago, in order to transfer my Barclaycard balance to it, only to be told I couldn't because it was also a BC.
  • I still not got my PIN - called today and they will send another. But in the meantime the old Goldfish card will cease on 28 Sept. So who knows when can use a card again.

And everytime try to log in the site, says invalid password and have to reset everything.

    Complete and utter shambles!
