warm front advice for my mum

Hi hope everyones well. My mum got a warm front grant back in 2002 and was told she could get 2 wall heaters for her bedrooms when she said she would sooner wait until she turned 60 so she could get central heating she was told that even if she had the heaters she would still get central heating. So in April this year she hit the big 6-0 i rang warm front and asked if someone could come out to do the survey thing so she could get her central heating and guess what because she has wall heaters they wont give her the gsh we have been told that she has £2500 left of the grant but that is for repairs if the heater were broken so they could replace them her hot water runs off an emmersion tank so her bills are sky high can they refuse her gch and has anyone had the same problem.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Hi roysmissus, worth kicking up a stink over this.
Put it into writing and keep copies.plus anything you can find from the previous conversation.
In the present political climate, don't think they can do this.0 -

Don't know how the system works, will do some research later. Sounds like a fiddle. You need a date so head
office can pin down the original promise. Maybe it's not the first query about a suspended balance.0 -
Details here roysmissus....says here even if you have had a grant before you may be eligible for more heating.
