ambernora, sorry it took so long, I had visitors last night, how I put the wire on.

It doesn't have to be pretty because it gets covered by the hat.
If you use the bulb upside down and earmuffs you won't need the wire cos you can hang him by them instead. You'll need to put it on to hang him to dry but then take it off again.

He's been done with a screw in lightbulb, you can drill through the top to put the wire in but I didn't fancy a trip to casualty and stitches LOL

Should have mentioned, I'm going to give him a couple of coats of clear acrylic spray just to seal. I'll sray it rather than brush it cos I'm worried it will ruin the painting.
