Thanks for that Bails!
Just checked and I got the £1 plus 2 x 10p then got 25p from TAB.
C!ao has now deposited my £7.68, I know it isn't much but it's more than would have been there if I hadn't been doing the challenge.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

my brother has given me the go ahead to sell some junk that was in our shed (and keep the dosh
) - well its not really junk, its 8 packed single bed frames, and a few other bits of flatpacked furniture. Not sure where to sell it though, or how to price it. Is eBay a good place to sell furniture, or shall I just sell through local classifieds or something?
Anyone have any idea?We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

I'm really bad at updating my totals; I don't know why - there's not really that much to add up! I'm up to a grand total of £140.67 received in so far, but have got about another £100 coming in November (fingers crossed).
Buffy - I'm feeling pretty much the same as you (ebay stuff still sitting in living room - sort of don't notice it now!), but I really really want to clear a certain debt by Christmas, so I'm just going to have to force myself to do stuff this month.
Had the email invite from ebay for 5p listing, so that's my motivation for next week.

woohoooo!!! the last of my outstanding matched betting "wins" cleared my account today and i'm officially over the £600 mark! :j
i'm still working bet basket offers at two bookies and i intend to join another one tomorrowi think i've run out of "easy" bookies, so now it's time to start on the ones that require a little bit more effort.

Becca, I'm amazed! £600 already? I just can't quite get the concept to 'click' in my head as to how to do matched betting, I have read it again and again. But you really are making it sound like something I should persevere with and then give it a go. Well done!
Polly, don't worry about amounts, it's good that there is anything extra - every extra penny to a debt is a penny less owed and a penny closer to savings, so it all counts. I added a few pounds to mine today after receiving a postal order for a small item I sold in the auctions. It wasn't much, but it helped. I only need £10.94 to get me one third of the way to my target. Interest due on tiny stooze pot last day of the month, plus the cashback, must go check afain to see if it's arrived yet.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

nyk, it took me *ages* to get my head around the idea of matched betting. i was terrified when i placed my first bet and was convinced that it would all go wrong and that i'd end up losing money... but i started around october 5th, and have made just over £300 in less than a full month.
definitely worth giving it a go.0 -
Buffy, which bingo sites are you on? Do you see the free scratchcard but it doesn't work? They don't work for me if I double click so make sure you only click once. Hope that helps?
Only one scratchcard today but I made an extra £1.80 on PSS - the key is predicting the computer and knowing when to stop!
Really ought to think about some more Ebay stuff but...
Edit: AARGGHH, I need to find 12p!The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
