i've just managed to withdraw another £10 from a free scratchcards site... well, technically not just free scratchcards - i also like to play a bit of pss and i'm usually quite lucky - my balance was £7.10, so i played a couple of games of pss and managed to get my balance up to £10.10 :)

i have accounts with two free scratchcard sites (i signed up to both to play bingo before i realised they did free scratchcards) and i've withdrawn from both in the last week or two, so my balances are very low again. but since i've made £10 from both sites just in october alone, i reckon they'll pay out again before the end of the challenge :)

Have had a bit of a break the last week :o but am busy listings things online again. Have still kept up with my clicks etc.

Hoping to hit the half way mark on schedule, but not too bothered. Also, my massive collection of junk to sell is dwindling lol. Lots of my sons old clothes to sort through and list. Why do I not find the idea of that exciting hehe...

lilmissmup, pss is Paper Scissors Stone - on the free scratchcards site they have it as a game. it's gambling really, because you're not gauranteed to win, but i only use the money i get from my free scratchcards and, as someone (bails, maybe?) has said before, the key is quitting while you're ahead.

Ah, now I get it, I didn't know what PSS was either, thanks for that :)
I've received an Amazon payment into my bank for books sales I had long forgotten about, so I am quite happy. Unfortunatlely can't count it here as it's from before the challenge start date and not technically 'new' money but still, it's a payment I wasn't expecting. :)

To anyone who asked about this challenge continuing into next year, yes it will. I'm hoping to do exact same throughout 2009, so the new challenge will begin on 1st January. Can't guarantee that I'll be here on that day but the challenge will begin regardless :D

becca, I may get OH to attempt the matched betting, I'm sure he'll understand it far easier than me :D

    allo all,

so near and yet so far. Just had a few eBay bits end (5 out of 13 - not bad..ish :S), and thought I was going to hit the £600 mark, but am £10 short!!

Still made £47.77 on stuff that was just lying around, so am sooo chuffed about that again. About to relist and list some more just now - so glad for this challenge, I would not have bothered with any of this at all!!

Its interesting, I've made a lot of my total through eBaying - didn't realise my junk was so valuable!! :D

    hi all

great to see everyone doing so well...! i am finally past the £400 mark, so with 2 months to go maybe i will make the £1000 after all!

have added on pay rise (net), saving on mortgage repayment due to interest rate cut last month, and £50 from topcashback for opening an A&L account.
have paid them all off my egg card, which has less than £800 owing on it now (down from over £2,500 in May  ) and I am determined that with some scrimping and saving and a bit of luck I will be debt-free by Christmas too! :j

listed a load of books on ebay yesterday, so with a bit of luck some of those will sell, and topcashback will keep tracking!!

    good luck everyone

    Hi everyone!

Haven't been on here for a while, it's been pretty quiet, but I've got 18.94 to add to my total from ebay sales.

I've started on the matched betting, I was off sick a lot of last week and took the time to study the guide. I've made two small successful bets and am in profit to just under 10.00. I went through Quidco for the sites so should also get 30.00 from there too, if it tracks.

    Have a good day everyone!
