:rotfl::rotfl:ok my 2'ps worth.
They average 30minute relates to the higher %of customers breakdowns happenin in opulated areas....
The OP was rural, so probably only 1patrol/local garage covering area... so 30minute is tough call.
the fact that noone was on way after 90 minutes is a joke.
The AA also get their customers locations wrong.... when i lived in Belfast i worked in a Petrol Garage an we done breakdown as well. we had a contract with the AA, and i couldnt tell you how many times the AA called us and said they urgently needed us to attend or when will we arrive on the m1.....
there is a m1 in northern ireland as well and they said one night that the m1 nothern ireland is the 1st selection on their screenPromo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -
I was with RAC and I waited for 2 hours to get a call then to be told a further 45 mins, then to get a call after Icalled 1 hour later to say 30 mins. in all about 4 hours wait.
I got realy annoyed so I swore on the phone to the lady, they then said we refuse service.
The patrol attended and I sat in his car and would not leave. he called the police and nobody could be bothered to come out. in the end they flagged a motorway patrol.
I was tempted to lock the doors, but by then my friends arrived and the Police knew I knew my rights.
Asked me to step out I said "no I will in 2 mins".
"No I will arrest you" said the Police
"unlawfull arrest, what would you want to arrest me for? I said
"tresspass"
"hahah, tresspass is not illegal"
"yes but what can you with someone in your home"said the Police officer
"remove him with reasonable force"
"well I will remove you, lets make it easy"
"1 min and I will get out"
Police officer then removed me gently, undid my seatbelt and removed me.
Lol, if they hadnt flagged the Police officer I would have wasted another 10 mins.
The thing is nobody was available for me, however when I was in their car and not moving 2 more patrols came in 10 mins, huh no patrols in the area, all busy???0
