planning a simple xmas lunch

I have to say that christmas lunch , all the family sat around the table wearing silly hats and eating too much , is one of my favorite parts of the day - what with the children ranging in age from 4 to 17 its not often now that we are all around the table at the same time ( youngest ds needs to eat at 4 to be ready for bed at 7- eldest dd doesn't get home until 6)
Its no more work than a normal sunday lunch, in fact its less because we do all the prep the day before and the kids all lend a hand. I never feel as though i miss out on time with my kids on christmas day because I am cooking lunch , maybe I'm just lucky .I am journeying to a debt-free life.
Our estimated debt-free date is January 2040. I'm on a mission to bring that date closer!
