  • How on earth do you get the mystery shops? Is there a wonderful website you can point me in the direction of - I'm itching to 'do something' workwise/moneywise to bring in some extra but fear at 8 months pregnant no-one is going to employ me - mystery shopping sounds like fun!!!!

I can't believe that today of all days I join this thread because what started off so well intended at 7am (ish) really went pear shaped ........... still tomorrows another day huh???? and its not every day that your told that your diabetic (pregnancy) and also husband says works slow at work so no more working from home 2 days a week - thats going to hit me really hard when the baby arrives not to mention my son who absolutely dotes on his dad ................ I feel that I'll be commuting myself several days a week just to have lunch with him ............ my husband feels bad too - I mean he is going to miss all this - his son and of course he won't have as much time with the new baby as he did our son - its all pretty raw for us now to deal with - I have declared that sat & sun will be no doing housework/washing/ironing etc and meals quick and easy we must just have precious family time together, we've been so lucky in the past and thats why when his agent has phoned with offers of other jobs nearer home for more money he has turned them down because and I know this is a DFW website money is not everything (our debt at highest was 20k due to our wedding 5.5 years ago) but I've always said stick your job out for 5 more years and when the kids are at school if you feel the need to go to a better paid job then so be it - but while they are at home then just enjoy them ...................

I'm sorry my emotions are all over the place on all of this ............. I delcare that tomorrow I will try and get a better grips on lifes issues and 'stuff'

Hope you feel better tomorrow. Regarding the mystery shops, i am registered with tons of site but get the main bulk of my work from 'grassroots', retail eyes - thats the one where i have just picked up six jobs, gapbuster, although i don't tend to do much work for them. I mystery shop a variety of outlets, from pubs for drinks or food, to supermarkets or banks, to name but a few.

Tallie, really hope you are feeling better soon both physically and emotionally. I can completely sympathise, i was in a job, as some will remember, that i was trully unhappy in. It had got to the point where going into work each day was a real struggle. Hope you find a way through it one way or another and do what is best for you.

I would have said, enjoy your weekend, but your at work again!! Take carexx
