Afternoon all, sounds like there are a few annoyed people today, hope you get things sorted.

Loulabelle, welcome to this board. Have you tried getting in touch with your local college and seeing how much they will charge for highlights etc. Our college near us has a lovely new hair and beauty department and they offer treatments to the public. For a colour its £15 and is less for highlights. I am planning to go to them in the next few weeks, as i know they will do a good job.

Well, its Friday, so here comes the weekend!!

    My things for today are:
-I have phoned woman back regarding starting training in order for my voluntary counselling placement and have been accepted on it.
-I have printed out stuff for my audit tonight
-I have read some of counselling books
-I have looked for mystery shops and have picked up two more

-I will sort out mystery shops for this eve
-I will have free tea out, in fact i will have two free teas:o
    -I will do my audit
-I will sort stuff out for college tomorrow
-I will get our foreign student a present to take home

-I have looked in the m and m sale and have bought a few pressies for my OH, who is very picky (all other presents got for other people)
-I will sort out mystery shops for tomorrow
-I'll do any surveys i receive
    -I will work through emails

-I will work on my website
-I will proof read my website
-I will work on what needs changing and adding to the website - Now just need to work out how to add a contact form and to get hold of my fella for five mins to get the pic taken of me giving him an indian head massage!!
-I will do boring household jobs
-I will write my reports later, when i get home
-Lunch will be left overs from yesterday
    -I'll check online banking
-I will look for a matched bet
-I'll make tea for others from the storecupboard
-I have sorted out an assignment query

Have a great start to the weekend everyone.

    Hi andan

    Impressive list :D

I'm going to have to think all weekend of impressive DFW things to add to mine. I was so pressed for ideas I actually had to put "come to work" on mine. Having said that, without coming to work I have no chance of clearing any debt at all.

Hope you have a great weekend

I happen to think that putting "going to work on" is actually a very important one and should be on the list. :DWithout going to work we would not be able to pay debts off or achieve some of our goals, we put down other jobs and mystery shops, so why not the one that we probably do most of the time:rotfl:

  • I don't have any massive plans for today but here goes.....

    Go to work!
Brought lunch in with me (tin of soup that's been languishing in the cupboard for about a year!)
    Charged phone at work
Brought diet pepsi with me instead of buying it
Have tea planned from freezer and cupboard
Not go out - OH is "out with the boys" and I'm going to have a nice quiet night watching soaps and cuddling puppy-dog
Trim down shopping list - will be ruthless ready for tomorrow's shop
May make some cookies for weeknd nibbles (have stuff in)
    Put expenses in the bank

Tomorrow I will have a look in Farm Foods, Wilkos etc instead of just buying everything from Sainsburys as I usually do - bog roll and toiletries are usually much cheaper that way.

    Have a nice sunny weekend

    Hi Andan,

Thank you for the welcome and for your advise re:highlights - will definately look into this - just wished that I hadn't messed with nature in the first place!

I'm feeling a little guilty and slightly annoyed with myself - just had to pop into local high street with my son to take some documents into bank - it appears that my signature didn't look quite right so had to provide driving licence etc and that was the only reason for going ............. however there is a sweet little shop that sells Thomas engines so i said to son he could have one (only about £4.50 each) of the small ones .............. well apparently he 'needed' Peter Sam and Daisy - he would not surrender and I'm just a soft touch that I let him have both - I tried to negotiate but it was no good ...... he's so pleased with them and he does play with his trains all the time so I guess that I shouldn't be so hard on myself - also husband didn't go down pub today with work so he saved £10 there - it kinda balances out and I can hear him upstairs talking away to his trains - bless - I better go and play!!!

  • Hi everyone and thanks to sophiesmum for kicking this off today

:o After bragging about NSDs yesterday I have had a bit of a splurge today involving a bottle of milk that turned into a pair of earrings and a rather nice pudding
Still, I have learnt that once in a while is OK and we must forgive ourselves - trouble is I am OK whilst on the 'NSD' wagon but when I fall off it can be quite a tumble ( Well pride does come before a fall so they say!)
    Back to tight rein tomorrow!
Done all usual checks etc and feel like a Friday night in pyjamas !
    Best wishes
    Belle
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.
