Excuse me if i sound abit thick but mobiles arent my thing,however my wife has been given a vodafone branded mobile,now she`d like to use it on an asda sim card(its cheap)i think i read somewhere that vodafone mobiles will work with the asda sim,is this true?or will i need to get it unlocked(if so how),and re:the asda sim card anyone know can you buy them instore or is it just online

It would seem that the SIM's have been available in-store, though I got mine from their website.
It appears that a handset locked to Vodafone will accept the ASDA SIM without the need for unlocking (haven't tried this myself though) - this is usually the case for networks that piggyback on the bigger providers.
