I have been with orange for over a year now. I have had no problems. The router does go down sometimes while they upgrade the software but it is never more than 2 minutes. I am what seems like one of the few that could not complain to them about the service it is second to none (and I have used a few) even the customer service as been A1 class

I had a similar sounding problem when I first joined talktalk, I would lose connection all the time, the lights on my modem would flash as they tried to reconnect, sometimes it was back up in a minute or two, other times it would be off for hours.

I called the Customer support people and they were absolutely useless, wasted about 3 hours talking to indians who just read off a script and wouldn't listen to me when I told them I had already done everything the had suggested. Eventually got transferred to technical support - nice scottish bloke who got me to type in some address for my router and talked me through some settings that needed changed, took about 5 mins and it's been perfect ever since.
