01132 number ??

Over the last two days I've had four phone calls from a number beginning with 01132******...................as I don't recognise this number at all and haven't a clue who it is or what the code is I haven't returned the calls.
On answering them all I got was silence.
What sort of code is this ???

I normally only get calls to my mobile from people who I've given the number to........and thats a select few really.

0113 is the STD code for Leeds, if you give the next three numbers then we will be able to narrow it down a bit more.

Thanks.................the next three numbers are 0131**
making it 011320131*** .

Don't know of anyone in that area that I would have given my number to and I'd have thought if on answering they couldn't hear me for some reason then a text would be sent.

Its a normal common or garden phone number.

Thanks. I hadn't rung the number in case it was one of these 'scams' where if I ring them if starts to cost me a fortune. Think I read about it somewhere.

All numbers beginning "01" are normal. I can't see why you got so over-excited about it!

I don't give my mobile number out to many people and have heard a lot about calls being made to mobiles and ending up costing the recipient a lot of money. Just playing safe -sorry if it seems as if I was making a lot of fuss

Have you tried googling the whole number? If it is a company with a web presence, you will find out who it is without phoning it.

Thanks...........I'll try that. It rang again today, same number, and each time I answer there's no one there, least no one that replies.
