60066 mobile premium messaging service - how can I stop them?

Hi,

Does anyone know which company owns this number and how I can go about contacting them to permanently stop the messages that I have received (two so far).

I havent requested their service but they are on my bill and I have to send "STOP" to stop them, which in itself is annoying (and obviously doesnt seem to work as I've received two). I dont want to pay for something I didnt want in the first place.

Any pointers/contact details appreciated.. thanks.

Browntoa - this advice is incorrect.

Flexta does not own the 60066 short-code, nor does it operate premium-rate subscription SMS services of the kind described by mcroodi (i.e. ones requiring 'STOP' commands). Even a basic 'google-search' reveals there are 100s of services sharing the 60066 short-code, so for my website to be singled out as "the" source of these "irregularities" is [at best] inaccurate and [at worst] libellous.

I've given mcroodi some helpful / detailed / correct advice on tracking down the source(s) of her problems.
