On a related point?? A local roadside cafe has just started charging £1.00 for use of the loos. Coachloads of people were stopping, using the facilities and then going on to Hastings without buying anything, leaving the owner to clear away nappies etc. There do not seem to be any public loos on the A21 and this is one of the only stops.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

sarahg1969 wrote:I paid £2.50 for a cuppa in a hotel in Chester last week. Came with "selection of biscuits". After much deliberation (should we order the toasted teacake at £2.75?), we all ordered cuppa and "selection of biscuits" - all 5 of us. We got 5 biscuits between us. Two ladies on next table ordered the same, and received a plate of 5 biscuits each!!!
