£1.89 - Moto services Ferrybridge on M62/A1 - even had to put own teabag in cup of hot water from a machine!
Absolute indifference from staff who did not even attempt to justify the charge.
Must be Britain's most expensive cup of tea - unless you know differently!!

Better to use superstores, located near Motorways. There was a link here somewhere for this or it was a book you could buy for the purpose.0

I can beat that. Come round my house, and I'll make you a cuppa for £10.99.0

The only things I buy from service areas are items such as newspapers where the price cannot be added to!
I would rather eat my own liver than pay their prices!
I rarely go anywhere without my thermos flask, taking tea and coffee along with the hot water so I can have what I want!Filiss0 -
Be a boy scout / girl guide - be prepared. I find journeys go much quicker if you have a flask of tea, biscuits and not to mention the sucky sweets.
Saying that if you need a drink I find alot of service stations do decent real ground coffee - which make a nice change, but still not cheap. There is no need to run outside
For better seeing,
Nor to peer from a window.
Rather abide at the center of your being.

Not the most expensive, as tea at the Ritz is still quite pricey! But definately the least value for money of any tea!0

Why should the staff have to justify the charge? They serve the stuff, they don't make up the prices!
They're probably sick of people complaining and would be more than happy if the price was reduced.0 -
When I went to Rally GB (once only) I paid £2.00 for a Polystyrene cup of hot water and a DIY teabag.Happy chappy0
