    Dear Julie-Ann,
Unfortunately we are unable to supply your www.boots.com order detailed below for one of the following reasons:
    1. We had a technical issue
    2. There was insufficient stock to meet your order
This order has been cancelled and you will not be charged.

So guessing they are OOS even though they had 3 left when i ordered. Never mind you win some you loose some.(Part of my new positive thinking as instructed by oh)
Something else will come along...I need a good points one too

Could the technical issue be that they realised their mistake?

From previous returns it will come up at full price when they refund you then you can either swap for the TB sets or have the refund put on a card. Unless they have changed the whole process.

Would they still come up at full price even if you took in the delivery note as proof of purchase?

This one *might be worth looking out for. I bought one when the perfumes went down to silly prices :D and it's nice. The only reason I mentioned it is that even though it's a perfume that's been around for a while, it always seems to be tucked away in the corners of the perfume counters  I saw a second one well after the 75% had finished but had another geriatric moment and never thought to buy another one :o

*I only say might because you know how these things are - can't be used in conjunction etc ;)

jax.26 - thanks for the mention of the mirror mints :) Didn't have a clue they were even part of the meal deals  and have even bought a couple for hampers - doh! Re your post #613 - I've been stood next to a fellow bootser - didn't even realise until I got a PM from them :D It's a weird feeling ;)

nic2075 - not sure if anyone replied to your post #723 but mine shows the same. You can usually tell what points you've received from your original email. The ones that are not showing on mine are the ones that I know I've received by the ACM issuing a voucher to say what my total is. hth (The ones that I've received for last weeks orders are showing btw).

Manners :o Morning all :) Hope you're all well and getting some bargains :D
I'm all Bootsed out after those till splits  so no shopping lists to post, but still welcoming any suggestions as to what to spend my points on. Tia and cya later x

Not 100% sure. But your .com receipt doesn't show prices, so I'm guessing you would be offered a refund/exchange at current till prices. Anybody know any different?
Cornishlady - you could always just take them in to a branch without a receipt, as per Boots returns policy, say you've changed your mind and ask to swap them for something else. You'll get the current value of the goods then.

  • Has anyone got a picture of the mirror mints and are they usually with the other sweetie/mint/chewing gum stuff ?

    TIA
  • Totally agree with Liverbird, I have had to swap one or two items in the past from .com & been offered the price instore but is sometimes MORE than what was on .com

  • Just been to Boots Hinckley, as a new bootser found a sales assistant and asked where reductions tend to be, informed new reductions tend to be on the SEL's, and promptly showed me some in the shampoo section. SA also told me that older reductions are on special display at far end of store near photographic section. Went to here and had quite alot on it including Simple Regeneration Plus Intensive Line reducing serum RRP 12.99 for £1.50, so got this and some other skincare on the 342.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:
