Boots at Gemini Warrington have lots of 17 eye shadows reduced to 10p. Colours aren't that great but ok when your using them to get the free lipstick. :D They are in a small cardboard box on a shelf next to the clearance.

ive all ways found the boots grabit forume very friendly, inviting, and relaxing because people here make you feel that way,and that can only be achived with a little bit of chating.
i hope the thread goes back the way it ues to be before now.;)

i think the best place fo it to be is the grabit board because it will limit extreme chating, and having two boards will only make us lose bargains because of not knowing where to post them.

No 17 Free Lipstick Voucher Experience

I picked up the free lipstick (£4.29) and a number 17 Last fix Nail polish for £2.69. I was going to stop there and use the voucher so I would get the two items for £2.69.

However I decided to go for the 3 for 1 deal mentioned. I picked up a boots mascara for £1.99 and went to the till. The voucher would not work so sent me to a till where they are able to type in the voucher code. Unfortunetely manned by the supervisor.

She stated that I could not have the 3 for 2 and then use voucher as the lipstick was already free. I argued that infact the cheapest item was free ie the Mascara and therefore wished now to use my free lipstick voucher. She read the voucher and pointed out that the terms stated "not to be used in conjunction with any other offer" so I could not have in effect 3 for 1. She did however state that as the lipstick was free I could pick up another item to qualify for the 3 for 2. By this stage I was very confused so picked up another Mascara. I was given two receipts one stating: 17 Sheer Moist Lip= £.00 and another as follows:

    17 Lastfix Nail= 2.69
    lashbuild Mascara= 1.99
    Lashbuild Mascara= 1.99 now = 0.00

    Total to pay £4.68

Still not sure what has happened but got £10.96 worth of goods for £4.68???

Perhaps I should have just got the nail polish and free lipstick so would have spent £2.69 for £6.98 worth of goods= better ratio. Although I suppose I got a buy one get one free on the Mascara.

Either way I got them for my Mrs without asking about colour of type so probably all wrong anyway!!!:rotfl:
